Our Beliefs

God’s Holy Word

Crossview Baptist Church believes in an infallible, inerrant, and sufficient Bible. We draw our beliefs from the Bible and not from the traditions of men. The Bible is our final authority in matters of faith and practice. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Redemption

We believe Salvation is a free gift of God based upon the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Always Prayerful

We believe Prayer is foundational for our lives. (James 5:16; Phil. 4:6-7)

Committed to Evangelism

We believe in the great commission and our responsibility to carry it out as soul winners for Christ. (Matt. 28:19-20; Acts 1:8)

Everyone Working Together

As a local church body, we believe in working together to meet the needs of others as we carry out the mission which God has called us to as a Local Church. (Neh. 2:18)

We are Baptists and thus find this acronym helpful:

Biblical Authority

Autonomy of the Local Church

Priesthood of the Believer

Two Ordinances

Individual Soul Liberty

Saved Church Membership

Two Offices

Separation of Church and State

The Holy Bible is the inspired word of God and is the basis for any statement of faith. The church subscribes to the doctrinal statement of the “Baptist Faith and Message” as adopted by the SBC in 2000. We band ourselves as a body of baptized believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the good news of salvation to lost mankind.
