The Bible

Crossview Baptist Church believes in an infallible, inerrant, and sufficient Bible. We draw our beliefs from the Bible and not from the traditions of men. We believe that the Bible is a word from God and that the Word of God is Jesus, His Son. (2 Timothy 3:16-17; John 1:1-5; Rev. 19:13)

Redemption

We believe Salvation is a free gift of God based upon the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. (Ephesians 2:8-9)

We believe that what Christ has done, He has done for all mankind. (2 Cor. 5:14-15)

We believe that what Christ says about us is the Truth and that belief in that Truth is the key to living from His Life. (John 3:16)

Always Prayerful

We believe Prayer is foundational for our lives. (James 5:16; Phil. 4:6-7)

Everyone Working Together

As a local church body, we believe in working together to meet the needs of others as we carry out the mission which God has called us to as a Local Church. (Neh. 2:18)

We believe that Love is the core to unity. And that through Love we ought to serve one another, not just within the four walls of the building, but outside to the world around us as well. (Col. 3:14; Gal. 5:13)

Unity in Community

We believe in the unity of the local body of believers within our community. We are not called to be isolated, but rather to work together to reach our community in partnerships with other local bodies. (Ps. 133:1)

All Done Through Him and For Him

We believe that ALL is to be done through Him and for Him. Jesus taught that we can do NOTHING without Him. We will not simply do something just to be doing something. We seek His guidance on what He wants us to accomplish and then we trust that what He has promised He will bring to pass as we partner with Him in it. (John 15:1-5; Col. 1:16,17; Eph. 3:14-21)
